Oops. I’ve been neglecting the baby. No, not THAT kind, fool, this one. I won’t go too deep into the last 6 months, but the Cliff®Notes version is that I have a newer, better job and I have seen a many movie. Now that I have a job that lets me share my knowledge to those I serve, this site and the others I frequent can now enjoy reading and updating.
The latest thing that I have at my fingertips is that I am now a business owner. Tech Hub, LLC. A technical support and tutorial services for Phoenix. There’s nothing on the site yet, but I’m hoping I’ll have a detailed site there soon. If you like me talking about food, please join Joy and me in our other favorite blog: Gourmeted, where we discuss all things food.
For now, I give you this little update. Others will come soon, I promise.

If you don’t know what that subject means, you haven’t been atune to Sci-Fi paradies
(okay, I’ll bite, it’s from Spaceballs)
As evidence with these few pictures, we love to eat our meat:
Dinner the other night, my first meal that I prepared since Joy and I moved in. (I know, it’s so wrong of me, but she’s an awesome cook and I started to get the itch to prepare…) This is also the first time I used the community grills as well. Not knowing what to expect, I purchased Ready-light charcoal, matches, and some thin sirloin steaks. We get to the grills and it’s a gas / Charcoal hybrid! SHWEEET! So the grill took about 10 minutes to get to the proper temperature and cooking took another 5-10 (I don’t remember, I think it was closer to 10…). The best part about that evening? We just received the Ice Cream maker from our friend in Vancouver / hawaii! Everything turned out perfect. I got props from Joy and the ice cream we made was perfect.
Last night we made our trek to IKEA for a dining table because a) The one we REALLLLLY wanted has been sold out for over a month now and noone has a clue when more are coming in, and b) We would like to be entertaining soon and c) we’re about ready to give up on the one we wanted, the Bjursta in the round form, and we think we found the one that can replace it. And this is the Bjursta we got! Not only does it fold out, but it can extend to just the length we need! I can’t wait to build it! Looks labor intensive. Of course, pics will follow. Among the things we got, we got a nice potpourri (this will be the only time you hear me praise it…) package and a few bamboo plates. When Joy placed them on the plates, it was the perfect decoration.
Anyways, it’s almost quitting time. laters, y’all!
